随着光电产业的蓬勃发展,各种光学薄膜陆续被开发出来。就涂布而言,这些光学薄膜产品的特点包括:



1.均匀度要求很高;


2.涂料黏度很低:涂料黏度可能<10cps;


3.厚度超薄:

以抗反射膜为例,对单层涂布,当nd=λ/4 时,可得破坏性干涉,也就是反射率为0 ,其中n为涂层折射率,一般都在1~2 之间, d 为涂层厚度,λ为入射波波长, 介于400~700nm ,因此,涂层干膜厚度都小于0.2μm,可预期湿膜厚度可能低至1μm 。

因而要生产此类产品,就必须开发超薄涂布技术。图一是各种可能的超薄涂布技术。

在成卷基材超薄涂布的各种可能方法中,将依续介绍微凹版印刷式涂布、张力基材挤压式涂布、毛细管式涂布、水相表面展开式涂布等几种方法;在非连续基材超薄涂布的各种可能方法中,旋转涂布法(Spin Coating)为大家所熟知,挤压式涂布法(Extrusion Coating)应用在LCD 光阻涂布,在此不多做说明,此一部分仅介绍液面弯曲式涂布。

以下即针对这些涂布方法加以说明。

微凹版印刷式涂布是日本Yasui Seiki公司的专利技术,其结构如图二(a),与传统凹版印刷式涂布(图二(b))相较,异同如下。
